Rooted in the belief that sports—when anchored in ethics, innovation, and inclusivity—can be a transformative force, CSRG transcends the traditional boundaries of athletic performance to influence society, policy, and culture at large. Founded in Dar es Salaam, CSRG serves as a strategic platform to rethink and reform how sports intersect with governance, development, creativity, and peacebuilding in Africa and beyond.

Our Strategic Actions
Fan-Powered Revenue Models
We work with clubs to develop Fan-Powered Revenue Models, including digital memberships, mobile giving, and branded merchandise, to help them become financially sustainable and less donor-dependent. This initiative helps address budget deficits and supports better infrastructure and athlete welfare.
Sports Clubs' Performance Dashboard (SC-PROMOTE)
We've launched a digital platform to monitor and promote progress, transparency, and accountability in Tanzanian clubs and federations. The dashboard tracks key metrics such as financial stability, sporting achievements, community impact, and governance indicators, providing rankings and incentives for top-performing institutions.
Peace-Building Campaigns
CSRG also uses sports and culture as a tool for peace and diplomacy. Through initiatives like the annual Fan Peace Cup Tournament and the Tanzania Traditional Dances Festival (TTDF), we aim to foster national unity, spread messages of non-violence, and strengthen social cohesion ahead of major national events.
